Expressões do feminino e a arte de tecer tramas na Atenas clássica

Abstract

Neste artigo, analisaremos a arte de tecer como um meio de comunicação exclusivamente feminino. Através dos mitos de Filomela e de Aracne estaremos estudando a amplitude do espaço de comunicação das esposas na Atenas Clássica (séculos V e IV a.C.).

In this article, we will analyze the art of weaving as a medium exclusively feminine. Through the myth of Philomel and Arachne we will be studying the extent of the communication space of the wives in Classical Athens (fifth and fourth centuries BC).
