Title: Ecos virgilianos en una Tempestad Épica de Silio Iálico
Authors: Villalba Álvarez, Joaquín

Abstract: This paper tries to analyse what sort of connection can be found between two passages which belong to Virgil’s Aeneid and Silius Italicus’ Punica. To be exact, we intend to make a profound study of the relationship (not only formal, but also thematic) between these two epic passages, which describe such an established commonplace in epic poetry as the account of the storm is. Thus, our aim is to accentuate not only the formal but also the thematic connection that links Aeneid and Punica
