Socrate e il dialogo “Ad alta interattività"

Abstract

In this paper I content that there is stili a lot to understand in order to account for the basic features of the so-called Socratic dialogue, esp. in order to account is new in this kind of writings. I.a.: highlevel of interactivity among the speakers (provided we put aside the doctrinal, expositive dialogues) while no external event affects the exchange; people represented as looking for suitable answers to unexpected questions and, in the case of Socrates, for bewildering (though seemingly harmless) questions and objections; authors often able to conceal what is probably meant to be the "lesson" of the whole exchange, to the point that modern commentators find it difficult to identify. It is reasonable to assume that behind these features there was a recognizable Socratic manner of leading most of this exchanges.
