O papel da mulher na cidade: atividades femininas na Antiguidade e a idéia de guardiã em Platão

Abstract

The article presents the debate on the feminine and masculine papers in the classic Atens. Search to reflect on the idea of the woman guardian in the Republic of Plato. This proposal is an opening for the discussion of the feminine functions in the ideal order of society. Plato intends to subvert the status quo with this idea proposing new functions, activities and possibilities of representativity. We will try to discuss that proposal through two perspectives: the necessity of the idea of woman guardian to the architecture of the Ideal State and the possibility that the informal wife conections have contributed to the notion of the feminine persuasion control

O artigo apresenta a discussão sobre os papéis femininos e masculinos na sociedade clássica ateniense. Buscamos esclarecer a estrutura clássica dos papéis femininos e masculinos frente à idéia de guardiã na República de Platão. Essa proposta é uma abertura para a discussão das funções femininas na ordem ideal de sociedade. Platão busca subverter o status quo com essa idéia, propondo novas funções, atividades e possibilidades de representatividade. Buscaremos discutir tal proposição através de duas perspectivas: da necessidade da idéia de guardiã para a arquitetura do Estado Ideal e da possibilidade de redes informais das esposas ter contribuído para a idéia de controle da persuasão feminina
