Abstract: The purpose of this work is to analyze a short medieval poem whose incipit says: Herbas ut flores tellus fert multicolores. This poem is a curious composition of 78 leonine hexametres, in which an anonymous poet decided to compile 259 names of medicinal plants. In our contribution we study the literary space, the textual transmission, the formal aspects and the lexicon of this poem.
