Abstract: When we talk about the question of space in the tale of Cupid and Psyche, we must consider two aspects: first, that there is a clear relation between this story and Apuleius’ novel; then, that we find two kinds of space, crossing each other, the human and the one of the gods. Afterwards, there’s another element to take into account: the relation between this story and folktales. Psyche’s story presents a clear similitude to that of Lucius but, at the same time, it seems a tale for children, as some of its features confirm. This implies that we have to see the question of space according to the marvellous and the inexistence of a specific space in it.
