Title: Nomos e Kosmos na caracterização do António e da Cleópatra de Plutarco
Authors: Rodrigues, Nuno Simões
Issue Date: 2014
Publisher: Imprensa da Universidade de Coimbra
Journal: http://hdl.handle.net/10316.2/32868
Abstract: Although words like nomos and kosmos are almost absent in Plutarch’s biography of Antony and Cleopatra, the concepts they imply support the author’s construction of the Life. The “bigamist” relationship between Antony, Octavia and Cleopatra as well as Antony’s uncontrollable passion for Cleopatra are examples of the absence of law and order in Mark Antony’s life.
