This contribution is designed - on the basis of Plutarch’s work, and particularly of the fragments 35-39 Sandbach - to emphasize how justice - the highest of civic virtues - can be implemented only in a wise polis (Plato) that is able to respect the laws, if these are not exploited by one part against the other (Aristotle). Far from that we read in the Stoics, this kind of justice is linked to the “regency” of divine logos, as the natural law that in the same way connects all humanity.eng
