A dedication to a flamen of Tiberius Caesar Augustus has been just retrieved in the wall of a rustic house near Beja, the Roman colonia Pax Iulia, in Lusitania. It was only known by one reference of André de Resende, a Portuguese humanist well famous by the mystified texts he reports; nevertheless, in this case, we are in presence of a genuine and very important roman monument (CIL II 49).eng
