O De Re Aedificatoria e Eupalinos: o pensamento “Arqui‑técnico e Arquitetônico” de Alberti e de Paul Valéry

Abstract

In Eupalinos (1921), Paul Valéry sets out the principles that, for him, featuring the work of architecture and the activity of the architect. These characteristics propose a way of thinking distinct both of artistic activity and of scientific activity, which is crucial for understanding the operation and goals of art to design, build and inhabit buildings and cities. Identify both the similarity between the thought of Valéry and the propositions of Alberti in De re aedificatoria according to its relevance is the purpose of this paper and the reason for its relevance.

Em Eupalinos (1921), Paul Valéry expõe os princípios que, para ele, caracterizam a obra de arquitetura e a atividade do arquiteto. Tais características engendram um modo de pensar distinto tanto da atividade artística quanto da atividade científica, o que é crucial para o entendimento da operação e dos fins da arte de projetar, de construir e de habitar os edifícios e cidades.
