Fazer História do Desporto: paradigmas e problemáticas

Abstract

Este artigo deve ser visto como uma reflexão sobre a história do desporto enquanto matéria de estudo, ensino e investigação. Em primeiro visa contribuir para uma definição de desporto e apresentar os principais paradigmas em que tem assentado a evolução da história do desporto enquanto sub-disciplina da História. Procura também identificar os caminhos seguidos pelas investigações sobre história do desporto e traçar o perfil do associativismo entre historiadores do desporto. Pretende igualmente lançar alguma luz sobre o percurso da historiografia portuguesa sobre desporto.

Cet article doit être considéré comme une réflexion sur l’histoire du sport comme une question d’étude, d’enseignement et de recherche. Dans la première partie, cet article contribue à la définition du sport et présente les principaux paradigmes qui ont fondé le développement de l’histoire du sport. Cet article cherche à identifier les voies qui ont suivi l’enquête sur l’histoire du sport et le profil des associations collective entre les historiens du sport. Il a également l’intention de faire lumière sur les cheminements de l’historiographie portugaise sur le sport.

This article should be seen as a reflection of the history of sport and a means of studying, teaching and researching. First, the article aims to contribute to a definition of sport and present the main paradigms in which the development of the history of sport has been based. It identifies the course that the research about the history of sport and the profile of academic associations with sport historians, proceeded. It also intends to bring some light on the Portuguese historiography about sport.
