Abstract: The aim of this paper is to research the concept of Iberian ethos in Plutarch’s opera: what is what he has known about Hispania and what is the vision we have received from him?, what is the value of Plutarch’s works as historical source? This investigation could be useful in several respects: 1) in offering all Plutarch’s texts concerning Iberia, 2) in analysing these resources and 3) in revealing his knowledge and opinion about this Roman province.
