La religión romana en Caesaróbriga y su área de influencia

Abstract

Como ya dijimos en un anterior trabajo, concretamente sobre el culto a Júpiter en la provincia de Toledo, el panorama sobre el estudio de las religiones tanto indígenas como la romana en la llamada Meseta Sur hispana, sigue siendo a nuestro modo de ver muy pobre por no decir desolador. Con el presente trabajo hemos intentado una vez mas ir desentrañando poco a poco, aunque los testimonios no sean muchos, el mundo espiritual y religioso que debió de darse entre los hispanorromanos que habitaron en la antigüedad el ager caesarobriguense.

As we already said in a previous essay, focus on jupiters cult in toledo region, the study of the roman religion as well as the indigenous ones in the hispanian south meseta, is still being, under our point of view, pretty poor or even more disstressing. With the present essay,once more,we have tried to unveil little by little, eventhogh we don’t have many testimonies, the spiritual and religious world that could have happened in the hispanorromanos who dwelt in the ancient caesarobrigense ager.
