A obra social de Bissaya Barreto: investigação e fontes em torno da criança (1927-1974)

Abstract

This research study was conducted around the Bissaya Barreto’ social work and Child but also from information available in new documentary and archival sources. It relies on the literature review, document analysis and comparison of the existing information on archival sources and the information used in studies on those topics. As a conclusion, there are unpublished documentary sources that could be used for future research and historical character studies, socio-economic and anthropological.

Este artigo incide sobre o estudo da investigação realizada em torno da Obra Social de Bissaya Barreto e da Criança e da informação disponível em novas fontes documentais e arquivísticas. Apoiou-se na revisão bibliográfica, na análise documental e na comparação entre a informação existente nas fontes arquivísticas e a informação utilizada nos estudos sobre aquelas temáticas. Conclui que existem fontes documentais inéditas passíveis de ser utilizadas em linhas de investigação futura e estudos de caráter histórico, socioeconómico e antropológico.
