Abstract

Esta comunicação tem por fim repensar a teoria da arte contemporânea à luz de conceitos científicos, estabelecendo uma provável correspondência estrutural entre invenção artística e invenção científica. Mas também alertar para a indispensabilidade de um adequado pensamento teórico sobre a arte, num mundo pré-catastrófico.

This paper aims to rethink the theory of contemporary art in the light of scientific concepts, establishing a likely structural correspondence between artistic invention and scientific invention. But it also draws attention to the need for an adequate theoretical thinking about art in a pre-catastrophic world.
