La huella de Paul Ricoeur en la Península Ibérica

Abstract

This chapter focuses on the presence of Paul Ricoeur in the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain). My aim is not to provide an exhaustive account of all the philosopher’s visits to both countries, neither of all the academic and scientific events organized to disseminate his thought in these countries. Intellectual affinity and affection with Paul Ricoeur allowed me to accompany him on various events that took place in Spain, Portugal and other countries. I address them in this chapter, recognizing that others might add their own personal perspective to my testimony and contribute to sharing moments that are already part of the history of contemporary philosophy history in the Iberian Peninsula.

El presente trabajo muestra la presencia de Paul Ricoeur en la Península Ibérica (Portugal y España). No pretendo ofrecer de manera exhaustiva todas las visitas del filósofo a ambos países y todos los eventos académicos y científicos organizados para difundir su pensamiento. La cercanía intelectual y el afecto con Paul Ricoeur me permitieron acompañarlo en diversos eventos que tuvieron lugar en España, Portugal y en otros países. Doy testimonio de ellos en este trabajo, reconociendo que otras personas podrán completar desde su óptica personal dicho testimonio y contribuir a relatar momentos que hoy ya forman parte de la historia de la filosofía contemporánea en la Península Ibérica.
