Encarnação, atestação e esperança: Paul Ricoeur leitor de Gabriel Marcel

Abstract

Gabriel Marcel was, along with Jean Nabert and Edmund Husserl, one of the great masters of Paul Ricoeur. On several occasions, Ricoeur himself explicitly declared this. Marcel was a seminal and founding reference, as well as a matricial and lasting influence that intermittently emerges, explicitly or implicitly, in the "long way" of Ricoeur´s thought. Our purpose is to illustrate these influences, connections and common pathways – so often overlooked by commentators – by analyzing the topics of incarnation, attestation and hope.

Gabriel Marcel foi, juntamente com Jean Nabert e Edmund Husserl, um dos grandes mestres de Paul Ricoeur. É o próprio Ricoeur que o afirma em várias ocasiões. Marcel foi uma referência seminal e fundadora, bem como uma influência matricial e duradoura que, intermitentemente, emerge, explícita ou implicitamente, na "via longa" do percurso ricoeuriano. É nosso propósito ilustrar estas influências, conexões e caminhos comuns ‑ quantas vezes esquecidas pelos comentadores ‑ a partir dos temas da encarnação, da atestação e da esperança.
