Ruído de tráfego rodoviário no Paul de Arzila

Abstract

O ruído constitui um factor de degradação ambiental que afecta não só a qualidade de vida do Homem, mas também dos mais variados seres vivos. A Reserva Natural do Paul de Arzila poderá vir a ser atravessada por uma via rápida ligando Montemor-O-Velho ao Ameal (Arzila), a cerca de 13 Km oeste de Coimbra. Neste artigo analisa-se a evolução do ruído no Paul, com a entrada em funcionamento daquela via, tendo-se verificado um aumento considerável do nível sonoro que pode afectar negativamente a vida animal no interior do Paul.

Le bruit est un facteur de dégradation de l'environnement qui nuit, non seulement à la qualité de la vie de l'Homme mais aussi à celle de maints autres êtres vivants. La Reserve Naturelle de Paul de Arzila est sur le point d'être traversée par une voie rapide liant Montemor-o-Velho à Ameal (Arzila), à près de 13 Km à l'ouest de Coimbra. Dans cet article on analyse l'évolution du bruit à Paul après la mise en service de cette voie rapide. On a, en effet, remarque une augmentation importante du niveau sonore qui peut affecter de manière negative la vie animale au sein de cette réserve.

The noise may be considered a factor of environmental degradation that affects not only the life quality of the human beings, but also the remaining life of other live beings. The Nature Reserve of Arzila Wetland may be crossed by a highway connecting Montemor-o-Velho to Ameal (Arzila), located at about 13 Km west of Coimbra. In this article the evolution of the noise at the wetland is analysed. The construction of the new highway has been taken into consideration. It has been verified a remarkable continuous noise level increase that may affect negatively the animal life inside the wetland.
