Etnicidade e poesia trágica: o Ciclope de Eurípides

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relations between Greeks and barbarians, in the Classical period, based on the discussions about the concept of ethnicity. The ways the Greeks saw themselves and what perceptions of the “Other” they built will be studied since the Euripides’ Cyclops.

A proposta deste texto é analisar as relações entre gregos e bárbaros, no período clássico, a partir das discussões sobre o conceito de etnicidade. As formas como os gregos se viam e quais percepções construíam do “Outro” será estudada a partir do Ciclope de Eurípides.
