Abstract: Euripides’ plays has been cataloged as modern. The nuances of this modernity have been subjected to varying criteria, without methodological rigor. We will review aspects of its currency from different perspectives, as an input to appraise the theatrical contribution of the tragic.
La obra de Eurípides ha sido catalogada de moderna. Los matices de esta modernidad han sido sometidos al criterio variable de los críticos, sin rigor metodológico. Repasaremos los aspectos de su modernidad desde distintas perspectivas, como insumo para valorar el aporte teatral del trágico.
