Su due passi del de sera numinis vindicta: traduzioni umanistiche, ecdotica ed esegesi moderne

Abstract

The paper analyzes two passages of De sera numinis vindicta, exploring the possible connections between the humanistic translations and the textual and exegetical solutions of the modern editors. This study would confirm that the humanistic age is a fundamental step in the history of the plutarchean text and its interpretation.

Il contributo si sofferma su due passi del De sera numinis vindicta al fine di evidenziare il possibile rapporto tra le traduzioni umanistiche (XVI sec.) e le scelte ecdotiche e interpretative compiute dagli studiosi moderni. Tale studio vorrebbe nuovamente confermare che l’età umanistica rappresenta una tappa fondamentale nella storia del testo plutarcheo e della sua esegesi.
