Aspectos de la educación en el Franquismo: a propósito de ¡Arriba Hazaña! (José Ma Gutiérrez 1978)

Abstract

O período compreendido entre o falecimento do general Franco (Novembro de 1975) e o referendo da Constituição actualmente vigente pelo rei Juan Carlos I, em finais de Dezembro de 1978, foi um tempo bastante tenso, em que pouco a pouco se foram dissolvendo as ilusões sobre uma mudança drástica do sistema social saído da guerra civil, em 1939. Escritores e jornalistas, entre outros, abordaram múltiplos aspectos desse processo. Também os cineastas. O filme ¡Arriba Hazaña! ficcionaliza a educação religiosa e a sua evolução durante a década de 1960, e propõe - numa relação paradigmática com a sociedade dos anos 70 - a sua manutenção com algumas modificações.

The period from the death of General Franco, in November 1975, until the endorsement of the Constitution currently in force by King Juan Carlos I, in late December 1978, was a very tense time, in which the presumptions of a drastic change in the social system formed after the end of the civil war in 1939 gradually vanished. Writers and journalists, amongst others, addressed the many aspects of this process. Filmmakers did also. The movie ¡Arriba Hazaña! is about religious education and its evolution during the 1960s, and suggests - in a paradigmatic relation with the society of the 1970s - its maintenance with some modifications.
