Linha do Tua: o acidente e o socorro

Abstract

On February 12th 2007, there was one of the most tragic accidents in the Tua Railway. The "Bruxelas" carriage dropped down into the Tua River, dragging five people. The reading and analysis of the news, interviews and reports about this accident enabled to understand the daily sequence of the events related to the rescue and also to know which materials were necessary as well as the situation of each victim.

No dia 12 de fevereiro de 2007, registou-se um dos mais trágicos acidentes na Linha do Tua, verificando-se a queda da composição “Bruxelas” para o rio Tua, arrastando cinco pessoas. A leitura e análise de notícias, entrevistas e reportagens, possibilitou o conhecimento da sequência diária dos acontecimentos relacionados com o socorro, bem como dos meios envolvidos e, também, da situação de cada uma das vítimas.
