dc.description.abstract | France is often presented as having succeeded in reconverting a monarchical cultural system (centralized and correlated to state power) into a “republican-universal” model. It is a matter of seeing the realities and consequences of this history of public cultural policies, placing it in the perspective of European integration. “The cultural exception” has been invoked with some success by Paris to (or even against) Brussels to defend cinematographic production as the single price of the book. This notion could become an expression accepted by the states and the bodies of the European Union in the context of the transatlantic negotiations in progress (or pending). | eng |
dc.description.abstract | La France est souvent présentée comme ayant réussi à reconvertir un système culturel monarchique (centralisé et corrélé au pouvoir d’Etat) en modèle «républicain-universel». Il s’agit de voir les réalités et les conséquences de cette histoire des politiques publiques culturelles, en la plaçant dans la perspective de l’intégration européenne. «L’exception culturelle» a été invoquée avec un certain succès par Paris à (ou même contre) Bruxelles pour défendre le production cinématographique comme le prix unique du livre. Cette notion pourrait devenir une expression admise par les Etats et les instances de l’Union Européenne dans le cadre des négociations transatlantiques en cours (ou en souffrance). | por |
