Abstract:	Camões, through his epic poem Os Lusíadas, with its multiple translations, incorporates a timeless mythical structure, offering with a kind of ‘narrative metaphor’ a reinterpretation of the world where the Human is the central pillar. Camões, através do seu poema épico Os Lusíadas, com as suas múltiplas traduções, incorpora uma estrutura intemporal mítica, oferecendo com um tipo de ‘metáfora narrativa’ uma reinterpretação do mundo em que o Humano é o pilar central.
