dc.description.abstract | The frequent use of Latin in naming brands and products is especially striking in the case of wine. The Latin names and legends that can be traced in this area testify to interest in the Classics and Latin as well as to the prestige they give to the product. They also allow its use in the classroom as material for the study of Latin, and serve as a stimulus to approach the study of Latin lyric poetry, one of whose main themes is precisely that of the convivium or meeting of friends who drink wine, talk and recite poetry. | eng |

Las denominaciones y leyendas en latín que se pueden rastrear en dicho ámbito testimonian el interés por lo clásico y lo latino, así como el prestigio que imprimen al producto, a la vez que permiten su uso en el aula como material para el estudio de la lengua latina y sirven de estímulo para acercarse al estudio de la lírica latina, uno de cuyos temas principales es precisamente el del convivium o reunión de amigos que beben vino, charlan y recitan poesía. | por |
