Estado autoritário e violencia no Brasil

Abstract

Este ensaio procura estabelecer a relação necessária entre Estado autoritário e o uso institucional da violência no Brasil, durante os períodos do Estado Novo ( 1937-1945) e do Regime Militar (1964-1985). Além disso, o ensaio buscará precisar conceitualmente o Estado autoritário, focando os mecanismos sociais que balizam sua concretude histórica e o uso da violência em relação ao sistema de dominação.

This essay longs to establish a relation of needs between the authoritarian State and the institutional use of the violence in Brazil, during the periods of the Estado Novo (New State —1937- -1945) and the Regime Militar (Military Regime - 1964-1985). Beyond that, this essay intends to give a precisely conception of the authoritarian State, giving focus to the social mechanisms which establish a historical movement and the use of violence inside the domination system.
