Navegação comercial fluvio-marítima e povoamento no ocidente do Municipium Olisiponense: em torno dos rios Lizandro (Mafra) e Colares (Sintra)

Abstract

On this study we strengthen the hypothesis of the Lizandro and the Colares rivers have been navigated during the Roman Period and their potential usage as a way of draining the rural production of the region, while the villages in the area were involved in a trade network that was part of the hinterland that supplied Olisipo.

No presente estudo reforçam-se as hipóteses de que os rios Lizandro e Colares tenham sido navegados durante o Período Romano e usados para escoar a produção rural da região, estando os povoados das suas imediações envolvidos numa rede de trocas comercial integrante do hinterland abastecedor de Olisipo.
