Desconstruções do feminino: uma leitura das postagens de mães de crianças autistas no Facebook

Abstract

O rótulo mãe azul é usado como homenagem às mulheres que cuidam de filhos com transtorno autista. Porém, ao mesmo tempo que posiciona a mulher no papel de cuidadora, o rótulo também lhe designa o lugar da abnegação e sacrifício pela dedicação à maternidade exemplar. Fixadas no papel de mãe ideal, as mulheres ainda são classificadas como sujeitos reconhecíveis e aceitáveis socialmente pela correspondência aos valores morais ancorados no cuidado da prole. Este texto apresenta parte do estudo de caso realizado na pesquisa sobre as práticas enunciativas e comunicacionais em postagens divulgadas por mães de crianças portadoras do autismo, através da página Lagarta Vira Pupa, no Facebook, entre janeiro e julho de 2017. A análise, baseada na etnografia virtual, observa como as mulheres elaboram sua fala voltada à promoção da autonomia e autoafirmação, a fim de romper com a identidade feminina fixada na maternidade ideal, incompatível com a experiência cotidiana.

Abstract The blue mother label is used as a tribute to women who care for children with autistic disorder. However, at the same time that it positions the woman in the role of caregiver, the label also designates the place of self­‑denial and sacrifice for the dedication to ex emplary motherhood. Fixed in the role of perfect mother, women are still classified as recognizable and socially acceptable subjects by correspondence to the moral values anchored in the family care. This text presents part of the research on the enunciative and communicational practices by mothers of autistic children on Facebook between January and July 2017. The analysis, based on virtual ethnography, observes how women elaborate their talk aimed at the promotion of autonomy and self­‑affirmation in order to break with the feminine identity fixed in the perfect maternity, incompatible with daily experience.
