dc.description.abstract | Regarding what Eduardo Lourenço states in several of his articles, the presence of Brazil in Portugal is remarkable. The philosopher claims that Portugal thinks more about Brazil than the other way around, even in a more mythical perspective, trying to portrait the fatherhood of a nation that is self-proclaimed without a father. The aim of the present article is to discuss some of these issues, focusing on the way Brazilian literature is referenced in the new Portuguese literature (for instance, novels published from 2000 on). Furthermore, we intend to discuss the intertextuality, from authors such as Compagnon, Genette, Samoyault and Allen, among others, as well as bring a variety of renowned Brazilians authors and books that address the Portuguese hyper-contemporary narratives. | eng |
