Abstract:	This paper aims to trace the road from the relationship between truth and sovereignty in the 17th century to the notion of post-truth. It argues that this notion is a result of both the totalitarian manipulation of truth and of the attempt to order and simplify the plurality of the political world through its political correctness. O presente artigo pretende traçar o caminho desde a relação entre verdade e soberania no século XVII à noção de pós-verdade. Ele defende que esta noção resulta da manipulação totalitária da verdade, assim como da tentativa de ordenar e simplificar a pluralidade do mundo político através da sua correção política.
