Abstract: Este estudo analisa o acordo interavaliadores na Escala de Comportamento Adaptativo de Vineland – versão Escolar, isto é, determina qual o grau de concordância entre as avaliações de pais e professores de Apoio Educativo em relação ao comportamento adaptativo de 40 crianças com Necessidades Educativas Especiais, a frequentarem o 1º ciclo do Ensino Básico. O estudo analisa, ainda, a influência do número de factores de stresse familiar, do grau de envolvimento parental na escolaridade e dos anos de experiência dos professores em funções de Apoio Educativo. As correlações entre as duas fontes de informação são baixas ou moderadas, tendo sido no domínio da Socialização que se registou a correlação mais baixa e o menor grau de acordo. Os dados obtidos salientam a importância de considerar e valorizar os contributos de ambas as fontes de informação ao nível da avaliação do comportamento adaptativo.
Cette étude analyse l’accord inter évaluateurs à l’Échelle du Comportement Adaptatif de Vineland - version Scolaire, se qui signifie, il détermine le degré de concordance entre l’évaluation des parents et celle des professeurs de l’enseignement spéciale, concernant le comportement adaptatif de 40 enfants avec besoins éducatifs spéciaux, qui fréquentaient le premier cycle de l´enseignement primaire. L’étude analyse encore l’influence du nombre de facteurs de stress familial, du niveau d’engagement parental à la scolarité, et des années d’expérience des professeurs dans l’enseignement spéciale sur le degré d’ accord inter évaluateurs. Les corrélations entre les deux sources d’information sont basses ou modérés, en particulier dans le domaine de la Socialisation qui a présentée la corrélation plus basse et le plus petit degré d’ accord. Les données obtenues soulignent l’importance de considérer et valoriser la contribution des deux sources d’information au niveau de l’évaluation du comportement adaptatif.
This study analyses the inter-raters agreement on the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale – School Edition, that is to say, it examines the degree of agreement between assessments of parents and special education teachers, regarding the adaptive behaviour of 40 children with special educational needs, attending elementary school (grades 1 to 4). The study also analyses the influence of the number of stress factors in the family, the level of parents’ involvement in schooling and the teachers’ years of professional experience in special education in the inter-raters degree of agreement. The correlations between the two sources of information are low or moderate, and it was in the domain of Socialization that the lowest correlation and the least degree of agreement were found. The data obtained highlight the importance of attending and valuing both sources of information regarding the assessment of adaptive behavior.
