Abstract: A few objects found at Santo-André, and now preserved at the Museum of Santiago de Cacém, are studied. These are a terra-sigillata plate of the shape Drag. 15/17, bearing the mark of the Offic. Sab., an earthenware lamp of the shape Loescke iv or Dressel ii and a coin from Augustus’ time. Since coins may easily be earlier than the graves in which they are buried, and, on the other hand, the plate must have been made between the reigns of Nero and Domitian and the lamp between Tiberius and Domitian, it may be safely assumed that the grave dates back to a year between 54 and 96 A. D.
