Revelar a natureza ou desnaturalizar o costume: a formação filosófica na República de Platão

Abstract

The intention of this paper is to discuss the relation between phýsis and nómos in Plato's Republic, examining the hypothesis that philosophical formation depends not only on the possible equivalence between the nature of the soul and the constitution of the city, but rather on the contestation of the "natural", that is revealed conventional.

Busca-se discutir a relação entre phýsis e nómos na República de Platão, examinando a hipótese de que a formação filosófica depende não só da equivalência possível entre natureza da alma e ordenação da cidade, mas, antes, da contestação ao “natural”, revelando-o convencional.
