Derrida lecteur de Heidegger: de la Destruktion à la Déconstruction - de la mort et de la peine de mort

Abstract

Apresentado em versão mais sucinta no contexto de um colóquio intitulado Jacques Derrida entre France et Allemagne. Lectures Allemandes de Derrida, este texto privilegia os motivos da morte e da pena de morte re-pensados a partir da temporalidade (messiânica), com o intuito de salientar um traço da Auseinandersetzung que alimentou sempre a relação de Jacques Derrida ao pensamento de Heidegger – tenta-se assim discernir e realçar o que subtrai a Déconstruction derridiana, não apenas à Destruktion heideggeriana, mas, mais latamente, à memória greco-abraâmica de que ela soube bem herdar, fazendo-se dela um idioma filosófico único, excepcionalmente único no contexto da ocidentalidade filosófico-cultural, no seu combate insurreccional pelas Luzes de uma outra civilização (por vir). Uma excepcionalidade que se marca na tenacidade da sua desconstrução dos sintomas e das figuras do «carno-falogocentrismo» da nossa tradição greco-abraâmica, e de que a pena de morte é porventura o maior exemplo.

Presented within the context of a conference entitled: “Jacques Derrida entre France et Allemagne. Lectures Allemandes de Derrida”, this article re-examines the motives of death and the death penalty reconsidered from the aspect of temporality (messianic) in order to emphasise the element of Auseinandersetzung which was always present in Jacques Derrida’s consideration of Heidegger’s thought – thus, an attempt is made to discern and highlight what Derridean Déconstruction owes not only to Heidegger’s Destruktion but also to the Greco-Abrahamic memory he adopted so well and made into a unique philosophical idiom, totally unique within the context of Western philosophy and culture, for use in his combat for the Lights of another civilisation (still to come). An exceptionality which demarks his tenacity in the deconstruction of the symptoms and figures of the “carno-phallogocentrism” of our Greco-Abrahamic tradition and of which the death penalty is perhaps the greatest example.
