Pathos: entre ação e discurso no Édipo Tirano de Sófocles

Abstract

O presente artigo tem por finalidade analisar o pathos como técnica narrativa presente no enredo trágico de Sófocles, na obra Édipo Tirano. A análise centrou‑se no diálogo entre as personagens nos três primeiros episódios da tragédia, com embasamento aristotélico sobre a manifestação das emoções (pathemata).

This article aims to analyse the pathos as narrative technique in the tragic plot of Sophocles, in Oedipus Tyrannus. The analysis focused on the dialogue between the characters in the first three episodes of the tragedy, with Aristotelian basis about the manifestation of emotions (pathemata).
