The follovving text is the second half1 of a work whose intention was, mainly, to interpret the symbolism of the many animais which are, in a way, connected to the asinus Lucius. Therefore, this article begins with those animal's symbols that have both ctonic and uranic characterisrics. Afterwards, the asinus. as a ctonic and uranic animai, is treated in a separate chapter. Finally, the last chapter discusses the other symbols — non animais - that have also contributed to the book's originality. The bibliography and the symboFs index, used in the present work, are shown in the last part of this article.eng
