dc.description.abstractUtilizando um modelo digital do terreno, concebido especificamente para este fim, e de registos de fenómenos de cheias antecedentes bem detalhados, foi possível calibrar um modelo numérico baseado nas equações unidimensionais de Saint-Venant. Conseguida uma boa concordância entre os resultados do modelo numérico e de fenómenos bem conhecidos, foi possível com base no mesmo modelo e com fenómenos de cheias com diferentes tempos de recorrência, elaborar mapas de inundação, na área de intervenção da CoimbraPolis, associados a probabilidades de ocorrência.por
dc.description.abstractLa fleuve Mondego, c' est Ia plus grande f! eu v e intégralement portugaise. Elle présente un régime torrentiel, avec de três grandes crues, de telle façon que depuis plus de trois siecles des études, avec !e but de maltriser ces crues, on été entrepris conduisant notamment á Ia construction de nouveaux Iits. Dans Ies années septante du vingtieme siecle un projet d'aménagement à buts multi pies a été mis en place. Avec un model digital du terrain spécifiquement construi! pour ce but et avec des donnés récoltés des crues récentes, i! a été possible de calibrer un modele numérique de résolution des équations unidirectionnelles de Saint Venant, avec leque! on a pu faire descartes d'inondations fonctions des débits et respectives probabilités d'occurrence. Les résultats de cette étude, avec un foc sur I'analyse hydrologique et !e travail de développement du modele numérique mis au point, sont présentés.fra
dc.description.abstractA considerable plan ofhydraulic infrastructures and interventions has been programmed since the middle oflast century for the Mondego ri ver, the longes! ri ver with its basin totally developed in Portugal. U sing a digital terrain model, specifically conceived for this study, and the detailed data collected during the recent flood events, a numerical model based on the one-dimensional Saint-Venant equations was validated. The same model was then used to model previous extreme flood events in order to determine maximum flood inundation leveis associated to its estimated probability of occurrence and to produce high definition inundation maps to be used by Polis' architects and urban designers. Results ofthis study with emphasis on hydrological analysis and on the modelling work developed will be presented as an application to this recent case study.eng
